When did you start playing soccer?
My freshman year.
What position do you usually play?
I usually play forward.
What did you like most about soccer?
I like that I grew a strong relationship with my teammates.
Do you play any other sports?
Not anymore. I chose to focus more on soccer.
What are you currently doing to stay active?
Working out or practicing my ball control.
Who is your favorite professional athlete?
Megan Rapinoe.
What is your favorite food?
Spaghetti.
What is your favorite movie?
“The Notebook.”
Who is your favorite actor or actress?
Jennifer Aniston.
What is your favorite book?
“The Longest Ride” by Nicholas Sparks.
What is your favorite subject in school?
English.
What subject do you wish you didn’t have to take?
Accounting.
What is your favorite color?
Pink.
What is your favorite animal?
Elephants.
If you could live in any city in the world, where would that be?
I’ve always dreamed about living in New York City.
If you could have dinner with a famous person, past or present, who would you dine with?
Ariana Grande.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I’m a very shy person at first, but once I get to know who you are I’ll get more comfortable around you.
Do you plan on going to college?
Yes, Texas State Technical College.
What do you want to major in?
Either dentistry or teaching.
What would you like to do in the future?
Travel around the world.
Talk a little bit about what it’s been like having to endure this break.
It’s been hard for me because I’m not used to something like this. I mean nobody expected this; it came out of nowhere.
How did having the season stop right before the playoffs make you feel?
I was completely devastated when I heard the news that my soccer season was gonna stop right before playoffs. I didn’t want my senior year to end like that. I’m really gonna miss my teammates so much, but it was fun while it lasted.
Were you surprised the UIL decided to ultimately cancel all spring sports?
No, I mean it was for our own safety.
What have you learned from this unprecedented experience?
I’ve learned that we all have to keep ourselves healthy and safe.
