Basketball Battle of 506

Santa Rosa 61 – La Feria 52
The Warriors came out on top in last week’s edition of the Battle of 506. In a competitive game, Santa Rosa was able to get some timely 3 pointers and stops to defeat the La Feria Lions.
Santa Rosa is beginning this basketball season with a lot of expectations. Currently the Warriors are ranked 18th in the State in the 3A division by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.
The Lions’ last preseason game will be at home against La Joya Palmview on Tuesday January 5. Then District Play begins at Raymondville on Friday January 8.
