New clinic seeing patients in Mid-Valley

WESLACO – Patients 18 years and up can be seen by internal medicine physician residents at a new clinic which has opened in Weslaco, in the Knapp Medical Plaza building, 1330 E. 6th Street, Suite 105 (adjacent to the north side of the hospital).

The physician residents are under the supervision of board-certified internal medicine physicians, including Dr. Timothy Health, Program Director of the UTRGV Internal Medicine Residency Program at Knapp Medical Center; and Dr. Fatimah Bello, Associate Program Director.

The UT Health RGV Internal Medicine clinical site at Knapp treats a broad spectrum of internal medicine conditions, helps patients manage chronic conditions, and promotes wellness. The UTRGV Internal Medicine Residency Program at Knapp has expanded medical coverage in the Mid-Valley by bringing the following 14 new internal medicine physician residents to the area this year:
