La Feria crushes Grulla, heads into spring break

LA FERIA-The Lionettes will head into their Spring Break with some confidence.
La Feria is currently 4-1 overall and 2-1 in district play and are coming off a 18-3 win over Grulla.
The Lionettes clubbed 11 hits and used a monster 13 run second inning to grab a 16-0 lead through two innings.
Grulla answered with a three run top of the third inning before La Feria answered with a two run inning and sealed the win with the run rule in three innings.
Sabina Azuna paced the offense with three hits and three RBI. Hayaris Jimenez collected two hits and drove in a game high five runs. Beanka Galan also swatted a homer to add to the offense. In the circle, Anna Torres made quick work of the Lady Gators with three hits and seven strikeouts.
