Lions VS Beeville Jones

The Lions took their first loss of the 2021 season in a shootout loss, 49-31 to Beeville Jones. The Lions are now 3-1 and 0-1 in district play.

In the loss, the Lions QB Aaron Trevino threw for 222 yards and one touchdown while going 12-for-24 through the air.
On the ground, Zion Dickerson had another 100-yard performance. Dickerson ran loose for 164 yards on 20 carries and sniffed the end zone twice.
Trevino meanwhile ran it 12 times for 98 yards with a pair of scores but did fumble twice.
Both Justin Rodriguez and Joaquin Trevino caught a team-high four passes. Rodriguez tallied up 70 yards while Trevino netted 54 yard. Brandon Villanueva finished with just three catches but finished with 86 yards and one touchdown.
La Feria will now head into their bye week. Their next game will be out west when they travel to Zapata on October 8.
