And the winner is….
A big congratulations to Aaron Cantu $15,000 and Vanessa Hinojosa $7,000 grant recipients. Both Aaron and Vanessa are teacher aides at Noemi Dominguez Elementary. They were asked to apply for the grant to help them in completing their education.
Mrs. Lamas was very happy when she heard the great news. “I couldn’t be prouder of Aaron and Vanessa. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.”
Nora Lamas. TCLAS ….Grow Your Own Program is set to help our very own employees further their education so that they can become a teacher in La Feria. Vanessa added, “I am so excited to be receiving this grant of $7,000 to help me complete my certification. I would love to become a valuable member of this esteem school district. ” Aaron continued, “I am very grateful for this opportunity to further my education. This grant will allow me to focus on my studies rather than the cost. I would like to thank La Feria I.S.D for selecting me.”
