Santa Rosa 7on7 Team Qualifies for State

Santa Rosa Warriors 7on7 team advances to State Tournament in College Station, TX. The photo was taken after capturing their W against Comfort, George West, and Three Rivers to make it to the finals at the Poth STQ 7on7 Tournament. Photo and information were sent in by Coach Joe Marichalar.

Santa Rosa in local valley news has brought their team to the Texas State 7on7 Tournament, a truly great feat having been one of the first 3A schools to compete.
Santa Rosa Coach, Joe Marichalar says “We are extremely proud of our students-athletes for being the first Santa Rosa Team to ever advance to the Texas 7on7 Tournament..What an honor for our boys and their families and the great community of Santa Rosa. Truly a blessing, all glory to God.”
