La Feria ISD Hosts Summer Bash
- Updated: July 7, 2022
La Feria, Texas — On Thursday, June 23rd the School district in La Feria held an evening Summer Bash for families to come out. Together with the City, they provided bouncy inflatable houses, games like sack toss, miniature golf, and other fun games, and had the Police and Fire departments as well come out for safety.
Different Schools had separate booths with brochures, and enrollment sign-ups for Parents while offering candies, waters, and snacks for the whole family.
Throughout the evening they had raffles going on for all families who had signed up for enrollment for this next school year. They gave away beach supplies like beach towels, a beach umbrella, lawn chairs, a picnic bag, and a drink cooler set. Along with these items they also had cereal containers and Tupperware that they raffled off.
A free event for all the public. Many people complimented the event by saying it was a great turnout. Cynthia Torres, Cynthia Torres, La Feria ISD’s new Superintendent, later thanked everyone for coming out. She also told La Feria News that they should be having another event again before the school year.
