Larry Demott Williams

On Friday, October 7, 2022, Larry DeMott Williams of La Feria; loving husband and father, and grandfather; died at the age of 85. Larry was born on June 16,1937 in Pennsville, Ohio. He married Doris Evelyn Reeder on November 30, 1958. They had one child, Holly Ann Williams. Larry retired from a career at Sears after forty years of service as a mechanic. He mowed lawns for friends in his retirement community, and also assisted them with handyman services. Larry was known for being ready to lend a hand. He was a member of the church of Christ. He blessed the church with countless acts of maintenance and renovations to their building at 912 Parker Road over the years. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Dana Williams; his mother, Jo Hopper Williams; as well as his sister, Jan Williams; and, his only child, Holly Ann Duncan. He is survived by his wife, Doris Evelyn; his sister, Dawn Scott (Kieth) of Duncan Falls, Ohio; and his grandson, Eric Gene Duncan.
