Bridge Closed for Construction

On July 13, 2023, a Media Release was sent by the Texas Department of Transportation sharing that beginning July 20th the bridge crossing the Arroyo going south of 506 near Our Lady of Lake University and the Rio Gun Club will be closed for a month for, “needed repairs.”
The release adds the work is expected to be completed by August 18 and the directional signage will be put in place during the reconstruction work.
“Motorists should expect delays and are advised to observe and follow all posted warning signs, traffic control devices, and speed limit signs.”
