LA FERIA – Originally Retro Collectables, Gloria’s Treasures is a small-town boutique gift shop that sells collectables and other various items such as apparel and accessories. The idea behind opening the boutique was to cater to the community, said owner Norma Becerra.
Becerra said the original plan was to have a grand opening on April 1, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown, it was pushed back.
However, she said the boutique has utilized its online services, including its social media page and curbside pickup, to keep the store running.
Becerra said these services have been really good for Gloria’s because they are able to reach more clients.
Gloria’s Treasure is located at 605 N. Main St. next to Retro Joe’s Classic Cuts, which is run by her husband, Joe.
For more information about the boutique, visit Gloria’s Treasures on Facebook or give the shop a call at 956-778-8832.
