Seventy-Nine Volunteers Participated in Serve Our Schools SOS Project last weekend
The First United Methodist Church would like to express our most sincere gratitude to all who volunteered at this year’s Serve Our Schools at Vail Elementary. You all were AWESOME! The students at Vail Elementary will truly benefit from your efforts. We thank our sponsors for their generosity: John Ftacek of State Farm Insurance, Innovative Block, CAB-COS Contractors, City of La Feria, and Ysabella Guillen of Diamonds In The Rough. A special thanks also goes out to the students of the LFHS Gear Up Program for their help. Don’t forget both Sanchez (797-8550) and Vail (797-8460) Elementaries are looking for volunteers to do one on one tutoring with students for whatever time you have to offer.
