“Financing the Fun”

A new kind of financing for fun came on the scene last week when FULL THROTTLE FINANCE opened its doors to the public at 120 West Oleander in downtown La Feria.
A good number of city officials and members of the public attended the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony to make it official with a Grand Opening. Joe Becerra, company CEO, with his wife Norma, the president at his side, took the scissors and made the cut. He next welcomed the attendees inside the new business to enjoy refreshments and a moment of camaraderie.
After a brief opening ceremony and welcoming words by City Commissioner Eric Hoff, Becerra explained how his finance business will fill a niche in providing funds for families needing recreational equipment financing. His company will specialize in financing and insuring marine and power sports equipment, travel trailers and RV units. It will also include utility trailers and horse trailers.
“That’s why we call it: “Financing for Fun.,” Becerra said.
Joe and Norma Becerra welcome everyone to Full Throttle Finance.
“Our future plans include going into home improvement projects like: Patios, backyards and swimming pools,” he added.
“Also, there is another neglected area of financing that needs attention, and that is why we are going to expand into financing classic cars.”
This last specialty is a natural for Becerra, because he is a life-long classic car enthusiast, owning several himself.
Joe is from San Benito, but for the past eleven years has been a permanent resident of La Feria. He laughs and says he got here as soon as he could. The Becerras have three children in La Feria Elementary schools and the High School. His wife, Norma, is a student counselor at La Feria High School. Good reason to call the FULL THROTTLE FINANCE company truly a family affair.
