Senator Eddie Lucio, Jr. Presents Honorary Gavel to Mayor Brewer
A delegation for Rio Grande Valley Day were recently welcomed to the Capitol in Austin by Senator Eddie Lucio, Jr. (D-Brownsville). Mayor Steve Brewer, Commissioner John Hernandez and City Manager Sunny K. Philip represented the City of La Feria. All representatives were recognized with a proclamation presented on the senate floor and Senator Lucio singled out Mayor Brewer for a special presentation for his work with the City of La Feria and the Lower Rio Grande Development Corporation (LRGVDC).
