Lionette Golfer Celica Quintana Wins

Celica Quintana won her first tournament of the Spring season this past week. The Lionette golfers participated in the Lyford Girls Invitational held at the Raymondville Golf Course. Celica shot an 87 to win the individual girls title. Several other members of the girls team also participated in the tournament and had a strong showing. The girls competed against other 32 3A and 31 3A schools from the area. Next week the team travels to Alice to compete in the Falfurrias Invitational.
