Braving the Wind, Rain and Cold – Inclement Weather Did Not Deter 22nd Annual Fiesta de La Feria
- Updated: March 13, 2015

The sbow must go on – Friday night headliners La Sombra perform despite rain and cold.

The 22nd Annual Fiesta de La Feria was held Friday and Saturday, February 27-28 amidst a dramatic dip in temperatures, intermittent rain and a cold, ferocious wind that persisted throughout the weekend and threatened to dampen the festivities.
In addition to the regular annual spate of competitions, displays and vendors this year’s Fiesta celebration also commemorated the town’s 100 year anniversary with historical displays, presentations and a focus on the town’s rich cultural heritage.

Attendees brave the wind, rain and cold to hear bands perform on Friday night.
Though attendance numbers were lower than previous years, the 22nd Annual Fiesta boasted an increase in activities, vendors and quality musical acts that managed to bring out a modest turnout in spite of the unseasonable weather.
