WB Green JH Tops All at 2016 District Tennis Tournament

The 2016 District 32 4A 7th & 8th Grade Tennis Tournament took place here in La Feria on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Our W. B. Green Junior High Cubs and Cubettes went up against competitors from other Jr. Highs in Hidalgo, Port Isabel, and Raymondville. Our 8th graders had a near sweep of all events and earned overall 8th Grade Boys and Girls District Champion titles. The 7th Grade Boys earned Overall District Champions and the Girls tied for 3rd in District team standings.

GIRLS Singles: 2nd place- Alexis Reyes, 3rd place-Neena Rios
Doubles: 1st Place-Viviana Contreras/Makayla Treviño, 2nd Place – Isabella Draper/Melissa Pizaña

MIXED DOUBLES: 1st Place Azael Guerra/Sofia Guerrero, 2nd Place-Aliyah Garcia/ R.J. Vera
