The La Feria Chamber of Commerce arranged an official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially welcome our fair city’s latest business to join the growing list of businesses choosing La Feria for their work place. The business is JD’S Screen Printing located at 613 North Main street in La Feria.
The business brings a new and singular service to our community. Owners, JD Hernandez and his wife Andra, will be providing specialized T-shirts for almost any business, church, service club, school, special event or very personal messages for weddings and quinceaneras, even family reunions.
A good crowd of city officials, chamber members and law enforcement officers joined the Hernandez family and the Chamber of Commerce to officially welcome the new businesss to the growing list of downtown businesses by participating in the Grand Opening celebration and official Ribbon Cutting, and to personally congratulate them.
Chamber President, Sunny Philip, addressed the crowd and welcomed everyone to this latest addition to the downtown La Feria business district. Philip said the Chamber enthusiastically supports small business like JD’S Screen Printing because the “History of the United States shows that the growth, progress and development of our nation’s economy begins with small businesses that grow.” Then, they cut the ribbon to the applause of everybody present.
Hernandez already has hit the ground running: He has major clients on his list, such as:
La Feria High School, La Feria Chamber of Commerce, Pony League players, Local churches, like the First Baptist Church and United Methodists, and numerous businesses.
J D Hernandez and his family are originally from Willacy County. JD is a 1997 high school graduate from Lyford High School. JD and Andra have three children: daughter Brianna, age 12; son Devin, age 10; and the latest arrival, Bethany, age 3.
JD says: “Bring in your likes and interests, and we’ll bring them to light with an attractive message on an attractive T-shirt—guaranteed!
