- Updated: July 14, 2017
Everywhere you look, new businesses are coming to La Feria and bringing needed services to our citizens. The Chamber of Commerce and city administration joined in welcoming these new ventures in town.
The Texan Credit Corporation is a new expanded- services credit service added to the business community located at 510 North Main street, next to Little Caesar’s..
The arrival of the new business was welcomed with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening event. Sergio Izaguirre, manager, did the ribbon-cutting honors to the applause of those present.
Izaguirre is from San Benito and brings his four years of experience with Texan Credit Corporation to his new position as manager of the La Feria branch of the company.
He said he enjoys being able to provide the money necessary for families who need help for back-to-school necessities, vacations, home repairs, or even a new car. Izaguirre added, “When you need money in a hurry, come see us. We are here to serve.”
At the grand opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting, Area Supervisor, Sergio Perales, gave a history of the parent company and the many services that Texan Credit Corporation brings to the citizens of La Feria. He said: “Our company has over 50 branches in Texas, with this La Feria outlet being the latest. We want to help people with money problems and also become a part of the local scene by supporting local, community events.”
