New clinic opens in La Feria

Valley Baptist Physician Network, an organization of healthcare providers serving the Rio Grande Valley, has expanded and recently added a Family Care Clinic in La Feria. Antonia Hernandez, MD and Juan Briones, PA-C are now accepting patients in La Feria and are located at 200 W. 1st Street, Suite B.
Dr. Hernandez was born in McAllen, Tx and raised in San Juan. She graduated from PSJA High School and earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Texas Pan American. She then went on and graduated from Medical school and Family Residency Program from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Tx. She has been practicing for 9 years now. Juan Briones, PA-C is a 1995 graduate of La Feria High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and a Master of Science degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Tx. He has been practicing for 19 years now and is happy to serve in his hometown of La Feria. Valley Baptist Physician Network provides an array of specialties in several of their clinic locations.
