Lions Capture win in Regular Season Finale

The La Feria Lions faced off against the Kingsville HM King Brahmas in the final game of the 2023 Texas High School Football Regular Season. Being 1-1 in their last two games, The Lions looked to capture a their seven 16-5A DI win of 2023.
Having won the last three meetings over HM King, the Lions looked to continue the the Streak against the Brahmas.
In what was a slow night offensively for both squads, The Lions and Brahmas were locked in on each other. The Lions were able to pick up a touchdown to take a 7-0 lead at the half.
La Feria and HM King still played solid offense and were able to once again match each other on defense. While both teams were able to score once in the second half, La Feria held on to win 14-7.
With the win against the Brahmas, La Feria made it four straight victories over HM King. The Lions improved to 2-4 in District and 3-7 overall. The Lions will have a BYE in week 11, with the season ending being confirmed not too long after.
