The La Feria ACE program is thrilled to present a unique opportunity for grades 9-12 students. The Texas Summer ACE Program, hosted by Texas Southmost College, is not just any summer day camp. It’s an immersive experience that delves into diverse career clusters such as manufacturing, technology, law enforcement, and health services. These are not just any fields, but high-demand ones with cutting-edge technology.
This program aims to give students hands-on experience and exposure to different career paths, helping them make informed decisions about their future. The core focus areas include small engine repair, additive manufacturing, patient care services, law enforcement, welding, and laser welding.
Students can participate in the La Feria ACE Summer Camp for free and receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. The camp will take place from June 11 to 13, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Interested students need to sign up as soon as possible, as space is limited. Contact Aaron Cantu, LFECHS ACE site coordinator, at (956) 797-8377.
Enrolling in this program is not just about gaining a head start on your educational and career goals. It’s about setting yourself up for success. The Texas ACE Program has a proven track record of providing valuable opportunities for students, and we are excited to see the positive impact it will have on our participants’ future careers.
The Texas ACE Program has demonstrated the positive impact of educators and students working together toward a common goal, placing students ahead of their educational goals and providing them with opportunities that were not available in the past.
