Mark your calendars for the City of La Feria’s Annual Independence Day Celebration, a not-to-be-missed event! It’s a day full of fun and festivities, all for free, at Veterans Memorial Park, 904 Pancho Maples Dr, on Saturday, July 6th, from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Get ready for an unforgettable musical experience! We have a lineup that’s sure to get you on your feet, with La Zuertte kicking off the excitement at 5:30 p.m. and the main headliner, Rustic Rose, a popular country band from Mercedes, TX, taking the stage at 7:15 p.m. The evening will culminate in a breathtaking fireworks show at 9:00 p.m. Plus, there’s a car show and delicious food from local vendors to keep the excitement going.
Join us in celebrating our community spirit at the BBQ cookoff, a highlight of this year’s event. We invite all BBQ fans, outdoor chefs, and backyard cooks to showcase their skills. There’s still time to register for the cookoff, which offers exciting prizes for the best brisket, chicken, pork ribs, fajitas, and margaritas. The $200 entry fee will be paid out as prizes, making it a win-win for everyone. For more details on the cookoff, contact Charles Villanueva at (956) 865-5806.
