La Feria Lions Hold Meet and Greet for the Community
- Updated: September 7, 2024
By Mike Villarreal
On Friday, August 23rd, the La Feria Football team enthusiastically kicked off the new season with a lively meet-and-greet event. This marked the first annual event under the leadership of the new Athletic Director and Head football coach, Craig Foster. Enthusiastic participants had the exclusive opportunity to interact with and get to know the football team, coaches, trainers, Gold STARS, cheerleaders, band members, and other essential members of the Lion community. This event not only provided fans with a chance to connect with the team but also offered an exciting opportunity for the community to actively participate and immerse themselves in this thrilling occasion. The Lion’s next game will be on Friday, September 6th, at Hidalgo against the Pirates. Good luck, Lions!
