Fiesta de La Feria is Right Around the Corner

The City of La Feria is excitedly preparing for its annual community celebration, the Fiesta de La Feria 2025. This vibrant event has a rich history dating back to when the city hosted a special dinner and concert to express gratitude to Winter Texans for choosing La Feria as their seasonal home during the winter months.

Each year, the Fiesta de La Feria attracts thousands of visitors who flock to enjoy the festivities. Traditionally, vendors would line the streets of Main Street and East Commercial Avenue, creating a lively atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and the tempting aromas of diverse dishes. However, this year marks a significant change. Due to ongoing construction in the area, the Fiesta will be held at Veterans Memorial Park instead of Main Street for the first time in its lengthy tradition.

The 31st Fiesta de La Feria is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2025, and will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park. This year, attendees can look forward to a wide array of food options, as numerous food vendors will be present to offer delicious treats. Festivalgoers can savor everything from juicy hamburgers and smoky barbecue to refreshing lemonade and sweet funnel cakes, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

In addition to the mouthwatering foods, the event will showcase an impressive display of antique and show cars, providing a visual feast for automotive enthusiasts. There will also be live music performances throughout the day, featuring a talented lineup that includes Rustic Rose, Grupo Ambizzion, the Fabulous Cruisers, and the headlining act, Grupo Control. Each band promises to bring a unique sound, keeping the energy high and the crowd entertained.

Furthermore, festivalgoers will have the opportunity to participate in vehicle contests with exciting prizes up for grabs. The city is optimistic about this year’s weather, as last year’s Fiesta faced unseasonably cold temperatures and rain.
