The La Feria Police Department held its 7th Annual Operation Blue Star Toy Giveaway on Monday, December 23rd. Children eagerly awaited the chance to discover what toys and games they would receive. Families lined up around the City Hall building, excited to get gifts for their kids for the holidays.
From 3 PM to 6 PM, police officers stood by to help distribute gifts to the children, bringing smiles to their faces. The tables were filled with an abundance of toys, ensuring that every child received a quality gift this holiday season.
The event featured festive holiday music to spread cheer, as well as a special photo opportunity with Blue Santa and the Grinch. A long line of children and their parents gathered, all smiling and ready to receive their Christmas gifts. Each child who attended received a toy and the chance to take a picture with Santa and the Grinch.
Local community members, businesses, and the school district generously donated to make this event special. The La Feria Police Department would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to all who contributed to the Operation Blue Star Toy Giveaway.
We also want to express our gratitude to all the sponsors who helped brighten someone’s day, and most importantly, thank you to our police department for ensuring the safety of our children while handing out gifts during the holiday season!
