The Lady of Fatima originated in Fatima, Portugal where in 1917 six apparitions of the Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children.
The traveling Fatima Shrine that came to La Feria last week, is a replica that has been traveling the world for the past 20 years. The last time the traveling shrine passed through La Feria was seven years ago.
Peter, the owner of the traveling replica made a promise to the Blessed Mother many years ago that he and his family would make a pilgrimage to spread the message of prayer, hope and peace.
His wife mentioned that they don’t have a set schedule where the Lady Fatima will travel. They just know where she’s needed and are inspired where to travel next.
