Lions Win Sixth Game, Knock Out Rio Hondo Bobcats

The La Feria football team looks impressive taking the first six games thus far.
The Lions have won another non-conference game by defeating the Rio Hondo Bobcats on their own turf during Friday’s, Oct. 4 game with a final score of 49-28.
The Lions scored 14 points in the first quarter, 13 points in the second, 22 points in third and no points in the fourth.
The Bobcats scored 0 points in the first quarter, 14 in second quarter and 7 points in both the third and fourth quarter.
At press time the Lions were scheduled to play the Kingsville Brahmas in a seventh non-conference game at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 in Kingsville.
