Lions Overwhelmed by CC Miller 7-70
- Updated: November 27, 2020

The 2020 La Feria High School football season has ended much to short. After a Covid shortened the Lions’ regular season to just 3 games, they muscled out a 3-1 district record. This qualified the team for the playoffs. Unfortunately, the first match-up was against the ellite offense of Corpus Christi Miller.
Miller has been throwing up huge point totals all season. The Bucs were able to play 10 regular season games in 2020 and scored at least 60 points in 6 of those games. Against La Feria it was more of the same. Miller scored 70 while keeping the Lions to a single touchdown.
That touchdown came on a 14 yard pass from #12 Dario Sanchez to #14 Esteban Gonzalez.
