With the pandemic hitting harder than ever, the less fortunate have been struggling to make ends meet.
Food banks and local charities across the Valley have been working hard to help families put food on the table.
That’s one reason La Feria Café owner Cynthia Saldivar decided to make the holidays a little bit special by making to go Turkey plates right before the Christmas holiday.
On Wednesday December 23rd, the Café distributed over 200 plates of Turkey with all the trimmings curbside to our local community members and customers. It was the first for the cafe this year, and owner Cynthia Saldivar hopes next year’s will be bigger.
“This is what Christmas is all about,” says Saldivar.
“It’s truly about giving.”
La Feria Café would like to thank all the people who came out and would like to wish everyone a Prosperous New Year.
