1st Annual Fluffy Friends Pet Show set at Independence Day Celebration

The City of La Feria will present the 1st Annual Fluffy Friends Pet Show during the Independence Day Celebration to be held Saturday, June 29, 2013.
The annual event will be held at the Veterans Memorial Sports Complex located on Pancho Maples Drive in La Feria.
There will be a $5.00 entry fee with all proceeds going to the La Feria Animal Control and Pet re-homing.
Kids 10-15 are welcome to enter their domestic cat or dog only.
There will be winners in these classes: smallest dog, largest pet, prettiest pet, fluffiest pet, most compatible pet and exhibitor, best costumed exhibitor and pet, best trained (commands) and most talented (tricks).
There will be a free coloring contest for children 4-9 years old. Please pick up coloring pages at City Hall or the Bailey H. Dunlap Memorial Public Library. All entries are due by 4:30 p.m. June 21, 2013.
