Special Meeting Held to Finalize Supt. Contract

A special meeting was held by the La Feria School Board last Thursday evening to finalize the contract details for newly-named Superintendent of Schools finalist Rey Villarreal. (original story in La Feria News July 17 edition see online at www.laferianews.net )
Mr. Villarreal was to be in town for the meeting and the board was expected to approve his employment contract.
Trustees also heard a presentation by Jim Blackburn of the South Texas Health Coop.
