Election Identification Certificate Mobile Stations in Cameron County from October 7th through October 15th
- Updated: October 8, 2013
The Office of the Texas Secretary of State and the Texas Department of Public Safety in partnership with Cameron County and the Cities of Brownsville, Harlingen & Rio Hondo will offer Election Identification Certificates (EICs) at mobile stations across the county. EICs are available to qualified voters who do not otherwise have an approved form of photo ID for voting. Learn more about EICs here.
EIC applicants will need to bring evidence of citizenship and identity. To avoid confusion or delays, please review the online list of required documents before applying for an EIC.
On the following page are EIC mobile station dates, times & locations scheduled from Monday, October 7th through Tuesday, October 15th. Based on the mobile nature of the units, this information may be subject to change.
In addition to mobile stations, almost 50 DPS offices statewide will now be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through November 4th in order to issue EICs only. A list of DPS locations can be found online.
