La Feria Tennis Does Well in Kingsville

The La Feria tennis team participated in the Kingsville tennis tournament for the very first time and had a very successful time. Winning trophies for the team were Jovany Hensley/Ben Mora, 1st place boys’ doubles, Abigail Pecina and Carlos Gamboa, 2nd place, mix doubles, Gabby Reyna, 2nd place, girls’ singles, and Ashley Avalos and Violeta Gamboa, 3rd place, girls’ doubles. Other team members contributing points to the team point total were Maria Escamilla, Ron Mendoza, and Rick Vargas. The team placed 2nd overall. Job Well Done, Team!!
