The La Feria Lions opened up their season with a tri-scrimmage last week at Lion Stadium versus St. Joseph Academy and Edinburg High.
The Lions held their own in their first scrimmage by scoring and playing solid defense. Coaches were able to evaluate all the players and nobody got hurt.
At press time, Lions had one more scrimmage against Brownsville Lopez before hitting the road to Raymondville this weekend to open their regular season.
Good luck to the Lions, ROLL PRIDE!
