On Friday, July 8, 2016 the Mesquite House Barbecue restaurant, owned by Andres Zamarripas, opened their doors to the public for their grand opening.  The grand opening was preceded by a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Lower Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Santa Rosa Mayor Pro-Tem, Javier Florencia.

The restaurant opened at 11 a.m. that Friday until sundown. The ribbon cutting was held shortly after opening around 11:30 a.m. then all were invited to have a good time enjoying music and some delicious mesquite smoked BBQ!   Mesquite House Barbecue is located at 123 Main Street and is the first of it’s kind in Santa Rosa.
