Chamber of Commerce Announces First Meeting of New Year

The La Feria Chamber of Commerce has announced the date of its first meeting of the new year.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 6:00 pm – 7:00pm. The location is still pending at this time.

The meeting will allow the community an opportunity to meet the 2017 officers and board members as well as connect with other local businesspeople and network with chamber members.

Important topics and new business will be discussed.

The La Feria Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of the business community. It unites business and professional individuals and firms creating a central agency which lends itself to improving business and building a better community. Although members are predominantly part of the business community, there is a place in the Chamber for all who share the desire to improve the community and get involved.

The Chamber organizes and directs the energies of those who believe that La Feria is a community worth living in and a community worth improving, enabling them to accomplish collectively what none of them could do individually.

The strength of the organization lies in attracting the greatest number of individuals creating a pool of resources from which ideas, energy and finances can be drawn.

The major responsibility of La Feria’s Chamber of Commerce is the community’s economic well-being. They work to increase wealth and prosperity by facilitating the growth of existing businesses and fostering new ones.
