Sgt. Alfredo Andres Longoria Sr.

Sgt. Alfredo Andres Longoria Sr., 66, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013. Mr. Longoria was born and raised in La Feria, Tx. Mr. Longoria, son of Crespin and Adela Longoria was a sergeant of the 25th Infantry Division 4th of the 9th ; and a proud Vietnam War Veteran. Alfredo is survived by his brother, John and Theresa Longoria of Illinois and two sisters, Irma and Jonathan Pickering and Lupita and Enrique Marquez of Illinois. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Crespin and Tino Longoria. Alfredo is survived by his beloved wife and their 4 children: Lupita Longoria, Liza and Javier Juarez of La Feria, Melissa and Jason Mcclenahan of Weslaco, Lori Adel and Erasmo Garces Jr. of Weslaco and his only and beloved son, Alfredo Andres and Brenda Longoria of La Feria; as well as his 9 beautiful grandchildren. Viewing will be held on Tuesday at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home from 3-7pm, with the holy rosary following from 7-9pm. The funeral procession will depart the Heavenly Grace Funeral Home Wednesday morning, July 10th at 9:30am. for a 10a.m. mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in La Feria. Burial at Rest Lawn cemetery will follow the mass. Pallbearers will be Alfredo Andres Longoria Jr., Julian Laredo III., Erik Juarez, Jason Mcclenahan, Mike De La Garza, Erasmo Garces III, John Longoria Jr., Funeral services are under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home.
