Operation Smile Brings Christmas Cheer to La Feria’s Underprivileged Children
- Updated: January 2, 2015

TOY DRIVE – Operation Smile is an annual event that collects unwrapped new toys for children during the holidays and then distributes them around the community before Christmas Eve. Tuesday, Dec. 23, local police officers and firemen dressed as Santa and his helpers drove around La Feria putting the gifts into the hands of children.

Santa poses with children while making the rounds delivering toys last Tuesday.

Even “The Grinch” got into the spirit of the season helping Santa deliver toys during Operation Smile.
