DEAR LIONS,
The time has come to start the La Feria Lions Football Season. I hope that you had a great summer break and have continued to work out throughout the summer.
Remember, WE ARE LA FERIA LIONS and the community expects the very best of us on the field and in the classroom!!!
To the incoming freshmen, welcome to the greatest experience of your educational and athletic careers as LA FERIA LION FOOTBALL PLAYERS!!!
WE WILL BEGIN CONDITIONING MONDAY, JULY 27, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
EQUIPMENT ISSUE REPORTING DATE & TIME: MONDAY AUGUST 3rd, 2015 – 6:30 a.m. – Varsity, JV and Freshmen teams
PRACTICE SCHEDULE: AUGUST 3-7, 10-14, 2015
VARSITY
Practice: 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Break: 10:35 a.m. – 11:05 a.m.
Practice: 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Shower: 12:30 p.m.
End of Day: 1:30 p.m.
JV & FRESHMEN
Practice: 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Break: 9:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Weight Room: 9:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
End of day: 11:00 a.m.
* PICTURE DAY: SATURDAY, AUGUST 15, 2015 AT 10:00 A.M.
*MEDIA DAY: SATURDAY, AUGUST 15, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
PHYSICALS- If your physical form is not completed; please bring this information with you on Monday, August 3, 2015. All physical forms need to be on file before the first practice. Going to your personal physician is fine but we need forms to be in our records. If you have any questions, please contact the Athletic Department at (956) 797-8389.
SCHOOL DRESS AND HAIR CODE – The La Feria High School dress and hair code will be strictly enforced. Any athlete not complying with these rules will not be allowed to practice.
BREAKFAST & LUNCH – No athletes will be allowed to leave the campus during practices. Please be sure your athlete eats breakfast before practice. Please make arrangements to pack your athlete a snack and/or lunch.
