The W.B. Green Jr. High 2024-2025 Cub Cheer Squad participated in a comprehensive four-day UCA Cheer Camp at Economedes High School Gymnasium from Thursday, August 1st, through Sunday, August 6th.
During the camp, the team earned two superior ribbons, two-spirit sticks, second place in cheer, and a trophy for most improved. Their exceptional performance in front of a packed audience showcased the hard work and dedication they put into mastering game day material, refining their stunts, and forming strong friendships.
Special congratulations to the following girls for their individual awards: Averie Levrier, recipient of the Pin-It-Forward award; Isabellah Loredo, Jesslyn Ortega, and Daisy Gutierrez for achieving All-American status.
Founded in 1974 by Jeff Webb, the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) provides exceptional educational training for cheerleaders. The organization combines advanced skills with the traditional crowd-leading aspect of cheerleading. UCA conducts over 3,200 training sessions nationwide each summer, reaching out to more than 180,000 cheerleaders and offering the broadest selection of dates and locations compared to any other camp company.
