Etiquette and Political/Religious Correctness
- Updated: July 5, 2013
Dear Ms. Etiquette,
The world is getting kind of crazy and well, a little scary. It seems that people are pitted against each other in many things and don’t even realize the interior wars that are brewing under the surface. I mean, just with the pro-life, pro-choice agenda you have mothers against daughters. In the health care agenda, you even had some priests for the passing of the bill even when it made abortion legal. With the Valley Interfaith/Industrial Areas Foundations you have parishioners against parishioners. With the Girl Scouts, you have division from Catholics because of their revised books and teachings embracing and even promoting lesbianism and gays. We seem to have a government who is embracing socialism and religions other than Christianity and certain priests and Christians defend them. At what point do we stop being polite and politically correct? I want a nation under God, I want America back!
Dear Defender of the Old America,
Thank you for your comments and opinion. It seems that we are waking up to find another world sweeping our nation very swiftly. It is not that it happened overnight, it is that we are waking up from a deep slumber. We have never had to fight for our American Spirit because we have always had it in our hearts. But just as bad creeps into the good very sly and cleverly, we don’t usually notice until bad has a very tight grip on us. If you are a Christian which you seem to be, it has been foretold in the bible in revelations. If a person is not a Christian and does not believe in God, you don’t care one way or the other, you just exist from day to day, that lukewarm spirit is also mentioned in the bible under revelations.
As far as pro life/pro-choice agenda, preserving the dignity of life takes precedence over your current life status; in the health care agenda, many people justify it by how it is helping the less fortunate instead of seeing the implications of legalizing the culture of death as a nation; with Valley Interfaith/Industrial Areas Foundation, remember that it is not an organization that is a part of the church, but one that organized itself outside of the church and they have their own agenda. If they do some good and get the backing of the catholic church, they can promote other things with the church’s “backing.” People are not even aware that it stems from Sal Alinsky’s “Rules for Radical’s” book that was dedicated to Lucifer, the first radical. With the Girl Scouts, it is very sad that Planned Parenthood has infiltrated it and is looking to “empower” the young girls into their “discovery” of their body, their choice, their independence.
This leads to an individual that has no anchor in God and no fear of implications, only to live in the “feel good society” which offers no responsibility for their actions.
I have only given my opinion here and if it serves to awaken the soul, then maybe I have explained it correctly. I am only a simple sinful nobody aspiring to be as saintly as I can, a child of God, who happens to teach etiquette in the world.
So, you most certainly do not have to be politically correct, or even polite when it comes to the endangerment or safety of a person.
