Another Ribbon-Cutting Downtown

La Feria saw another ribbon-cutting ceremony as the Chamber of Commerce sponsored the official grand opening of La Feria’s latest addition to the downtown business community. The new business is BELLA FITNESS center located at 130 E. Oleander Avenue, directly opposite the City Hall.

Chamber of Commerce President, Sunny Philip, welcomed BELLA FITNESS, and said, “We are very pleased to welcome this new business just starting up.” He added: “The chamber is now taking the responsibility of city ribbon-cutting and grand openings in the city, and expressed appreciate to the city of La Feria its support. There will be more of these events because the business outlook for the city is very good.” he added.

The official grand opening ceremony took place Friday, June 9th at l:30. A good-sized crowd of enthusiastic supporters came to welcome the new downtown business and stay for the mixer..

The honor of cutting the ribbon was performed by owner Celeste Morales, who is an award-winning beauty and physical fitness expert. She brings her years of professionalism to her customers at BELLA FITNESS. Present to share in the event were her parents, her family, Chamber members, La Feria city officials, and friends.

Morales said that this new venture is the fulfillment of a dream. “I am living proof that you can be anything you want to,” she said. Celeste added with a smile, “it is my hope that my BELLA FITNESS beauty center will help beautify La Feria.”

Celeste then thanked the city of La Feria administration and the La Feria Chamber of Commerce for their support in the project.

The celebration over, the crowd went inside for snacks, refreshments and hospitality.
