Four Board Members Seeking Re-Election

Four La Feria ISD Board of Trustees spots are on the ballot this coming November 8th with all four incumbents seeking re-election.
As of 5 p.m. on Monday, August 22, there were several candidates signed up and ready to run for a seat on the board. Candidate Alfonso Rodriguez will be running against current place 4 board member and board president Lisa Montalvo.
For Place 5, which is held by Gloria Casas, candidate Javier Loredo has thrown his name on the ballot to run for that spot.
Candidates Aurora Hinojosa and Olga Estrada will be vying for a spot on the place 6 board seat, which is held by member Katie Johnson.
Place 7 board member Juan Briones is the only member that will run unopposed this election.
