Lionettes ready for Postseason

In a much-needed win in 32-4A play. The La Feria Lionettes faced off against the Port Isabel Lady Tarpons in the 32-4A regular-season finale.
The key offense for the Lionettes allowed for a successful day from the batter’s box. La Feria mounted up a strong defense to keep the Lady Tarpons at bay. Despite a close-knit matchup, the Lionettes pulled away to pick up a 3-2 win in the district finale.
La Feria will now face off against the Tuloso-Midway Cherokees in the Bi-District Round of the 2023 UIL Class 4A State Playoffs.
Representing District 32-4A in the postseason will be Zapata, La Feria, Port Isabel, and Raymondville.
