On Saturday, March 25th, La Feria ISD posted on Facebook, “We are very excited to announce the UIL Science team are this year’s District Champions! Out of 48 competitors, the Lions showed no mercy!
1st Place- Haley Ramos & TOP CHEMISTRY AWARD, Angel Ibarra- 2nd Place & TOP PHYSICS AWARD, Felicia Salazar- 3rd Place, Nico Noriega- 4th Place, Noah Lozano- 5th Place, Teresa Shields- 6th Place (freshman division) Regionals here they come!”

On Saturday, March 25th, La Feria ISD posted on Facebook, “Congratulations to these LFHS UIL Journalism participants. These students worked hard and did a fantastic job. We are so proud of you and your amazing teacher, Ms. Trevino!”


Cecilio Cavazos Jr., UIL Coordinator at La Feria High School, says students will be competing at Corpus Christi A&M for regionals on April 21st & 22nd. Great work Lions and good luck at regionals!
