Happy Belated Birthday, Deputy!

Though his Birthday was May 7th, on behalf of La Feria News and all the staff, we wanted to wish La Feria’s Fire & Rescue dog, “Deputy Chief”, a happy belated birthday!

Deputy Chief has been part of La Feria Fire Rescue since he was just 4 weeks old. He’s been part of all major department and city events. He’s helped pass out food and rescue people during the floods. He has been at every fire prevention presentation. He’s made his presence at the lighting of the tree, Christmas parades, toy giveaways, candy drives, birthday drive-bys and so many other events.
