Texas Street Festival Invites Everyone For A Fun Filled Labor Day Weekend

Get ready for an exciting festival full of fun for the whole family! The Rio Grande Valley will host a festival in Mercedes, Texas, this Labor Day weekend. The event will offer live music, wrestling, a car show, and rides for all ages. Additionally, there will be street vendors selling a variety of delicious food for everyone to enjoy. Local vendors will also sell their goods. An antique car show will display classic cars, trucks, and bikes. The Texas Street Festival is in its 16th year and is presented by the Mercedes Chamber of Commerce and the City of Mercedes.


This year’s festival is set to offer a fantastic entertainment experience courtesy of 3Bat Productions Wrestling/Lucha Libre. The lineup includes thrilling matches and nonstop excitement. The music lineup features well-known acts such as Grupo Palomo, Grupo Solido, Los Tigrillos, Gary Hobbs, Grupo Mesteno, Chris Marshall, and Davi. Prepare to enjoy an unforgettable night of dancing and live performances from these incredible artists.


The festival is also proud to announce the arrival of the highly anticipated Jurassic RGV exhibit. Step back in time and immerse yourself in the prehistoric world of dinosaurs with their exciting dinosaur show featuring life-sized, roaring creatures that will leave you in awe. In addition to this thrilling exhibit, there will be a vibrant carnival with a wide array of exhilarating rides for kids of all ages. The beloved Petting Zoo will also return, promising a delightful experience for the whole family as they interact with adorable and friendly animals. Make lasting memories and enjoy an unparalleled experience filled with laughter, fun, and excitement for attendees of all ages.
