Goodwill and the RGV Vipers Team Up for a Skills Camp

Goodwill South Texas is thrilled to announce its exciting partnership with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers! You’re invited to join them on October 19th for the Goodwill X Vipers Skills Camp, a half-day camp designed to help middle and high school students enhance their basketball skills. The Vipers Academy coaching staff will provide expert training in ball handling, shooting techniques, defensive strategies, footwork, and other essential basketball skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to develop their abilities and learn from experienced coaches.

Entrance to the camp is free if you donate 2 large kitchen trash bags filled with items for Goodwill. The top donor will receive a family-4-pack of floor seats to the Viper’s season opener and a Goodwill gear prize pack! Please bring your donations to check-in on the morning of the camp, and they will track the student with the most donations.

Each individual who takes part will be given a free Viper’s ticket and will have the opportunity to improve their athletic abilities and skills with the guidance of the Vipers Academy Coaching Staff. The camp will have a special focus on developing ball handling skills, dribbling, passing, ball control, footwork, and playing in different positions on the basketball court. In addition to the coaching, participants will also receive a basketball camp Sport-Tech® Tee, snacks, and a backpack to make their experience more enjoyable and rewarding.
