- Updated: November 1, 2024

The Santa Rosa Independent School District Texas ACE Program recently organized a thrilling E-sports tournament that took place on Thursday, October 17th, in Santa Rosa. The tournament’s participants included students from La Feria and Santa Rosa ACE. The event brought together students from both programs and provided them with an incredible opportunity to engage in competitive gaming, gain valuable insights, and foster connections within the E-sports community.
It was wonderful to see students from both districts come together, demonstrating their gaming skills and exceptional sportsmanship. E-sports is more than just playing video games—it teaches teamwork, strategy, critical thinking, and discipline. This tournament provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and engage in a fun, competitive environment that promotes creativity and collaboration.
With intense matches across the popular game “Super Smash Bros Ultimate,” the atmosphere was electric! Players showcased their skills and teamwork while teammates cheered them on, creating a vibrant community spirit.
La Feria ISD would like to send a shoutout to its top players for their outstanding performances and to all participants for their passion and sportsmanship. We also want to thank our amazing students and parents for making this event possible! The district also extends its thanks to Santa Rosa ISD for its exceptional hospitality and collaborative efforts in ensuring the success of this event.
Stay tuned for upcoming events as both districts strive to support the esports community and provide more opportunities for gamers to showcase their talents. Keep on gaming until next time!
